The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, July 15 reveals Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) will die from his stab wound.
Also coming up, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be in shock. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be shaken up. And Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will interrogate Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Y&R spoilers tease Cane will feel for a pulse on Damian’s neck. Phyllis will run over and tell Damian they’re going to get him some help. “Phyllis, Phyllis,” Cane will tell her. “He’s dead. Damian’s dead.” Phyllis will back away. “You think I did this?!” Cane will ask her. “You think I killed Damian?”
Phyllis will say it doesn’t look good, it’s just him, a dagger and Damian. Cane will say they were just sharing a bottle of bourbon. “Did you poison the bourbon?” Phyllis will ask. Cane will say no, he was drinking it himself and got a little woozy. Phyllis will sit beside Damian’s body and ask Cane if he saw any sign of who did it.

“Whoever stabbed Damian, threw that dagger from a distance,” he’ll reply. “This doesn’t make sense, the only one who’d want Damian to be dead would be you,” Phyllis will say. But Cane will say he needs to alert his staff, tell Amanda and find Chance.
In the train car, Chance will tell Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) he’s enjoying being at the chateau. Although he does want to get home. Devon will say they all do, but he feels sorry for Damian. His mother’s finally feeling better and who knows how much time she has left.
Then Cane and Phyllis will rush in. “Do you know where Amanda is?” he’ll ask. Abby will ask what’s wrong and Cane will give Phyllis a look. Then he’ll say he needs to speak to Chance privately. When they leave, Abby and Devon will grill Phyllis about what happened. “Back off,” Phyllis will say. She’ll pour herself a drink and take off.
Meanwhile, Lily will walk around the maze, looking for Damian. She’ll end up at the cocktail area and Amanda will ask if she found Damian. “Maybe he’s still with Cane,” she’ll tell Lily, who will suspect her ex-husband is putting him through the ringer.
“This new Cane is very unpredictable,” Lily will add. Amanda will say it seems like she really does care about Damian. “He’s very special to me,” Lily will reply. Amanda will say she’s happy for her. She’ll offer to talk to Cane but Lily will say he seems to have accepted that she’s moved on.
“I think ultimately he will go to any lengths necessary to win back to woman he loves,” Amanda will reply. But Lily will say he can try all he wants. “It’s not gonna happen.” Then Abby and Devon will show up and tell them what just happened in the train car.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Chance Wants To Know What Went On
As for Cane, he’ll lead Chance to Damian’s body. Chance will lean over him and confirm he’s dead. But Cane will notice the dagger is gone. “You need to tell me what happened, right now,” Chance will say. Cane will lay it all out for him and he’ll tell the cop he needs to solve this. “That dagger was intended for me, not Damian.” Chance will say the question is, where is the dagger. Cane will say he has no idea.
Then Chance will ask where the bottle of bourbon is. “The bottle and the glasses are gone,” Cane will say. “The killer must have taken them.” The cop will ask what direction the dagger came from and Cane won’t know. So, Chance will wonder how he knows it wasn’t a knife.
“It’s an antique dagger, it’s mine,” Cane will reply. “Anyone could have taken one, the case is unlocked.” Chance will say they need to contact local authorities. But Cane will tell him that’s impossible. “The best I can offer you is a walk-in freezer.” Then he’ll offer him half a million dollars to act as his private investigator.
Finally, Phyllis will run into Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and try to find out if he saw anything. Then Lily will come along and ask if they’ve seen Damian. Phyllis’ face will drop. “What do you know, what happened?” she’ll ask. “The truth is…” Phyllis will start.
But Cane and Chance will arrive, followed by a staff member and Carter (Vincent Stalbo), carrying a gurney. There’ll be a sheet over what looks to be a dead body. Cane will ask Lily to come with him. “No, don’t do that! Do not manage me!” she’ll shout at him. “I want to know who this is.” So, she’ll lift the sheet and see a lifeless Damian lying there.
